Instagram Stories are becoming more and more popular on Socialix as companies are looking to incorporate their branded messages into your "everyday moments". It is not uncommon for a brand to favor an Instagram Story over a regular post to your feed.
Once an agreement has been made for an Instagram Story on Socialix, you'll need to submit your content idea and caption to the brand, just like any other collaboration on Socialix. Upon approval, you can then share this story to your audience.
Submitting the "Link" on Socialix
Since Instagram Stories do not have URL's, you will need to submit the link of your Instagram profile and indicate that it was a Story.
- Place the full URL of your Instagram profile in the Publication URL field. We will detect that it is not a standard post URL and provide additional options.
- Confirm that it is an Instagram Story and not a mistake by checking the box. You'll also be asked to double confirm that the agreement was NOT for an actual post.
- Brands love data, enter the number of views the Story received and when it was posted and submit to the brand.
In addition, brands also like to see screenshots and we highly recommend that you send over an images of the live Story by capturing it while it is still live.
Following these steps will ensure that your collaboration is marked as fully completed and you are not left stuck in the workflow.
